I'm a married mom of four, with one son-in-law and one daughter in law. My kids are from 27 to 16, 2 boys, 2 girls. Two granddaughters and one grandson.
I live in central Kentucky, and am generally happy with just simple pleasures. Kids, friends, cats, reading, piddling with things.
My biggest health issue is hypertension, and I've found a lot of info and support here so far, and really enjoy the site!
This site supplies EVERY thing you need to get you into good health..everything except YOUR OWN ACCOUNTABILITY.

    Yes, every time that I have gone onto a raw or predominately raw diet my blood pressure goes to normal and I can do without my BP pills. Only it is sooo hard to stay to a raw diet....at the beginning that is.....I have done it several times in the past and never stayed to it to see much of a drop in pounds, as I am now. I think that I am finally ready to commit myself to this way of eating till I become as healthy as slim as I was back in high school or even better then that!!

    You sound like me....I did that..I joined SP back in Jan. 2011 and went crazy over all the info and help and support ..but then got discouraged and quit signing in and quit dieting and so until May....Mother's Day, I decided to give it another go and come back to SP but on an all raw diet....I went to my hubby's library and found all the raw books he had and started a search for a true way to lose weight just by diet alone.....I found it!! I do exercise too but nothing extra then my usual daily out-door work in my veggie garden and flower/pond garden. and so far the end of my second week is today Sunday May 22 and I have lost a total of 9 pounds....

    I know of a sure way to stop hypertension because I have just been through it and it works. I have had a heart surgery and ever since been on meds for hypertension and within one week of studying and then trying out this new diet and life style, I was off all meds for my hypertension and it is staying at normal readings every day....without pills!
