My Goals:

Regular cardio, strength, flexibility while eating right and drinking my water.

Personal Information:
Enjoy my work with Spark People Inc as part of the Babyfit, SparkTeens and SparkPeople online Community. My husband and I have two children. Our daughter is a lovely 16 and our son is 13. I have enjoyed all aspects of parenting and find the joy in all their ages and stages - including the teen years!

Other Information:
I have enjoyed a variety of experiences in my life - competitive athletics, showing horses, playing hand bells, flute, piano, french horn and detassling corn and working in an aluminum factory. Life is an adventure and the better you feel, the more you can get out and experience it!

Thank you for your response! I will look into SparkTeen and see if I can set something up. It's harder to get the kids on board with healthy eating, but they still ate healthier than I did up until I started SP!

Thanks for your blog. One point from an English teacher -- the past tense of "to lead" is "led" -- not lead. That kind of lead (pronounced led) is the kind in pencils (which is really graphite). Just a minor spelling error -- one often made, I have noticed. However, if you intended the word to be present tense, then it's fine!

Hi Coach Tanya;
i'm just wondering if most people feel hungry when they start out, and whether/when it goes away? Feel free to check out my nutrition. I know i need to up the protein and vegetables. I also understand that apart from fats, whole grains help satiation. I'm not much of a foodie, so welcome any ready-to-eat suggestions. Thanks for your time.
