Today - - not tomorrow -- (TNT) is all I need to be concerned with at this point. I love SparkPeople! I have almost 60 lbs to lose and I am almost 60 years old. This is my year!

Just a note to thank you and everyone who took the time and effort to respond to my recent blog titled “IF SparkPeople IS SO GOOD,WHY AM I NOT THIN?” The response is overwhelming and I am literally surprised and very proud as well. It is people like y’all that make it all worthwhile.

I have added you as a friend and I hope you don’t mind.

Thank you for the sweet comment! You're right: what's important is to keep at it.

I love your "today, not tomorrow" motto. Good luck with your goals!!

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I also would love to get away from frozen meals (and meal replacement bars) but by the time I figure out and make lunches and dinners for my family that they like and that contain enough calories to keep 2 teenage boys growing, I am too tired/ hungry to make a separate home cooked meal for myself that would be low cal enough for my needs. If I eat with them I have to do math and figure out calories, portion sizes and then use measuring cups and measuring spoons to serve up my plate every time, and then end up with such tiny amounts of food on my plate it's a joke. If eating's going to be that complicated I'd just rather not do it at all. Which is a good thing.. should help me lose weight! emoticon
