My Goals:
My overall goal and challenge is to develop healthy habits that I can maintain over the long-term.
Eat satisfying, healthy foods - not too much.
"enough is as good as a feast"

My Program:
Walk minimum 30 minutes a day

Yoga class once a week

Fitness class once a week

Track calories daily

Avoid getting too hungry, eat 5-6 smaller meals over the day

Emphasis on lean protein/dairy, fruits, veggies

Some (dark) chocolate is required of course!

Weigh-in twice a week

Water, water, water

Do not eat in front of TV

Do not eat directly from bag or box

Use smaller plates

Stop when full -- not overfull

Give up membership in the 'clean plate club'

Plan, plan, plan: take water/snacks on outings; have cut-up veggies ready to nibble

Get informed: check restaurant menus beforehand; check labels for ingredients, recommended portion size etc.
