1) Working on my new and improved fitness streak! I'm currently at 170 days, headed towards 200 if I can! (remember, this isn't extreme - I only need 10 minutes to keep the streak alive)
2) Make SparkPeople into a company that helps millions of people (I'm the Founder and CEO of the company and am passionate about helping people reach their goals!).
I do a well-rounded fitness program that I can fit into a very hectic lifestyle (having a young company and 2 young boys is challenging!) - most of my fitness program can be done at home. This includes cardio, strength (mostly pushups, crunches, lunges, body squats, and other body weight exercises), sprints and jump rope, stretching, and tennis-specific practice.
My wife helps me eat fairly healthy and I help motivate her on fitness - we're a good team!
I live with my wonderful wife Karina in the San Francisco Bay Area (even though SparkPeople is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio and that will always be my hometown).
My wife Karina and I have 2 young and active boys. I love seeing them mimic my exercise. Some of our best quality time is exercising together, they love exercising - especially bouncing on a mini-trampoline.

I'm goal oriented...
If I set a goal, you can be sure I'll do it.
But... most of the weight loss clinics I've joined in the past,
will tell you that "by April, (or what ever designation they decreed)
you will have reached your weight loss goal" ... as long as you stick to the plan.
Imagine the defeat if you don't lose all the weight by that time.
Now, you are a failure... or so it seems.
Instead of celebrating that load of fat you've actually lost, the
focus was on not making your goal on their time schedule.
With SP, we plod on day by day, encouraging each other,
but it seems to me that most of us are using only one oar in a row boat.
That's me, for sure. It's why I'll never-ever pay for a weight loss program again.
Now, I'm just happy to know I'm eating and exercising in a way that helps me have a
healthier, happier life. I've lost at least 35 lb. and am more aware of what I eat.
I'm so thankful for SparkPeople and all it has to offer. Also for all of you,
sharing your day-by-day struggles and achievements. You have become
my early morning 'get-up-and-go.' I really am happier as your Spark Friend.
My hope is that I make your day a happier one too.
