2012 - My Time to Sparkle!

My name is Jennifer, I am 33 years old, and I decided to join Spark People to help me in my goal of losing 100 pounds. I've been overweight for approximately 10 years, and I am now at my highest weight of 305 pounds.

Food has been an emotional crutch for me for awhile now, and I'm ready to start walking on my own! I want to live a long and healthy life where I am fit and active again!

Hi Sparklegirl78! I know you can do it. I am just joining and looking for others who also have about 100 lbs to lose. It will be hard but I am ready too!

Hey Done Girl -- Happy Spring!! To celebrate the season, I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light. I wish you a new dawn, an eternal youth and a morning star to wish on. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may they melt away with the winter and may you be granted a time of new light and a new life where your wildest dreams come true.

If you ever need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP six month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received with not only weight loss but life in general. ~ Michelle

Hi. I found your page from SARAHSTARTSOVER's page. Saw your comment on how you're feeling depressed from having undone all your progress in a short time. I understand and empathize--I undid 6 weeks of work in 1 week last week. But I did what you're doing, picked myself up, brushed myself off, and recommitted. And I lost 3 of those added lbs this week.

So just believe that you can do it too, and all is not lost--good luck at the gym this week! I need to work out harder, too.

Laurie
