Won't play ball, Won't do what I'm told, I'd rather be a square peg in a round hole...

After a few years of relative inactivity I've turned it around. Started with signing the kids up for Tae Kwon Do classes. The instructor we were talking with says we can take class right along with them if we want so we did.

And so began a new journey...

Shortly after starting martial arts, I decided it was time to hit the gym. Luckily, we have one on site where I work. Ahh, the benefits of working for a large company. I generally do a 30 minute class during ...

I generally do a 30 minute class during lunch along with a 15 minute abs class. Afterwards, treadmill and/or weights, and some stretching.

Now, I got talked into running the San Antonio Rock n Roll Half Marathon on Nov 11 2012. Training has gone great and I've actually run 13+ miles 4 times in the 6 months since I started running.

My Program:
Short version: exercise and eat right, best I can at both.

Long version (in progress):

Visit the gym at work everyday I am at work. Work on weight training, cardio, flexibility, and agility.

Martial arts class minimum twice a week, forms, sparring, and grappling...this one applies to the whole family!

Gracie Bullyproof program with my son and another father and his son's one hour once a week. My son and I will also work on the program a second time each week on our own.

Gracie Combatives DVD program right after the Bullyproof program for one hour.

Less processed foods, more natural and raw foods.

Less bad fats but more good fats.

More water, less coffee, tea, and soda.

Home is in San Antonio.
Native Texan.
Married with 2 children.

Other Information:
I like to make everything fun. Hopefully, my silly attitude doesn't offend anyone. I tend to turn to humor under stressful situations and I've found many times that can be a very inappropriate response. I do know that my foot will fit in my mouth...actually I can get both of them in there together.
