Hi, my name is Sharon. I'm back to Spark People with a new approach. I'm going to only eat real foods and avoid processed foods. My daughter showed me the movie, Fed Up which opened my eyes to how badly I have been eating with processed, "Healthy Food". I was shocked to learn that when they reduce the fat they replace it with sugar. Hi, my name is Sharon. I'm back to Spark People with a new approach. I'm going to only eat real foods and avoid processed foods. My daughter showed me the movie, Fed Up which opened my eyes to how badly I have been eating with processed, "Healthy Food". I was shocked to learn that when they reduce the fat they replace it with sugar. I learned that I am eating 10X more sugar than recommended by the World Health Organization without even eating anything sugary. So now I am going to track what I eat using Spark People and only eat real food (fresh fruit, fresh vegatables, meat and whole grains). I wonder if eliminating the sugar found in the processed foods that I had been trying to lose weight with in the past will have any impact on my weight loss. Here goes my new journey....

Trying a elimination program: no sugar, no gluten, no corn, no dairy, no soy, no peanuts, no eggs - target 25 days then reintroducing foods 1 by 1 to see how my body reacts and if I have any unknown allergies/sensitivities.
