2014 here I come....

Jan 1 2014 - I removed the 60lbs lost picture from my profile - sad to say I've gained weight back so that is no longer true. I put a picture of me at my heaviest on my page - as a reminder of what I absolutely do NOT want to go back to! 2013 didn't end so well - I didn't make my goal, and started backsliding. But 2014 is a new year, and with help and support from my SparkFriends I know I can achieve what I set out to do.

Time to change my intro...everything that was here is all in the past! I have been on SparkPeople for not quite 2 years now. When I started I was over 200lbs, and now I am under 150lbs. I did get down to 141lbs for a brief time, then went on a long vacation and somehow "lost my spark" and managed to gain back about 7-8lbs. So now I am working on getting "re-motivated" to finally get to my goal weight!

I was at almost this same weight years ago, but I am a lot healthier now and actually a lot skinnier now than I was when I was at this weight before! I know the scale is just a number, and I'm not completely fixated on that, but I do want to get to 135 or 130lbs, because I know that would be a really healthy weight for me.

This site is the best thing that ever happened to me in my search for a tool to help me on the right path to healthiness! I know that with the help of all my SparkFriends I will get there before the end of this year!

My Goals:
Lose the last 10-15 lbs to get to my ideal goal weight and size.

My Program:
Eat less, exercise more! Eat healthy foods - cook, don't buy - make meal plans so I don't say "there's nothing to eat" and wind up with junk food.

Personal Information:
Relocated to Austin, TX in Nov 2010. Being in one of the country's "fittest" cities is new motivation!

Other Information:
I'm an animal lover who due to the sad fact that animals don't live as long as they should is now a one pet household. But Peanut is a bundle of energy who gets into all sorts of trouble so he is enough for now! I started doing flyball and agility with him, and we like to go for long walks in all the nice parks around Austin!
