Second New start....take 4 (or 5? or 6?)....

Well, really, who's counting? It doesn't matter how many times I restart, as long as I don't give up. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway!

I joined SparkPeople in 2011, and successfully lost over 60 lbs. I kept most of that off for well over a year. But the last year or two things started backsliding. Work was really stressing me out, and I got back into a lot of my old bad habits, like eating fast food. Bad me!!!

Last October I moved to Houston and started a new job, which is great. The only problem is despite not having a "desk job" anymore, I definitely don't get as much activity during the day. It's a lot of standing around, not a lot of moving. That plus the summer heat has been making it hard to be active. I joined weight watchers and lost a little bit initially, but then it tapered off. My problem is motivation...or rather the lack thereof! I tell myself "don't eat that" and then I eat it!

I dropped off of SP for a while, thinking a change would help, but of course that didn't work! So now I decided that since I'm coming up on my 4 year Sparkversary I need to recommit...again!

New yellow page is to signify a bright future for me on my journey towards permanent weight loss and good health!

My Goals:
Re-lose the 25 lbs I've gained back, and then lose the last 10-15 that I never got rid of! STOP STRESS EATING!!!! I need to find better outlets when I am stressed, or sad, or happy. Wish it was that easy LOL.

My Program:
Eat less, exercise more! Eat healthy foods - cook, don't buy - make meal plans so I don't say "there's nothing to eat" and wind up with junk food. STOP EATING FAST FOOD! I did it once, I can do it again. JUST SAY NO!

Personal Information:
I just moved to Houston, TX after 4 years in Austin. I have a new job, which I love, and am working on meeting people and developing some good habits.

Other Information:
I'm an animal lover who due to the sad fact that animals don't live as long as they should is now a one pet household. But Peanut is a bundle of energy who gets into all sorts of trouble so he is enough for now!
