Live with Intention & Serenity

Thanks for checking out my page!
My name is Hollynn and I joined the Spark July 27, 2009 as a way to "focus on positive things I can do" and started working hard. I weighed in at 286lbs but was already down about 10 lbs from my highest weight of 295lbs. Most of the weight I lost was in the first year. I exercised every single day and logged (most) of my food. I weighed in at 286lbs but was already down about 10 lbs from my highest weight of 295lbs. Most of the weight I lost was in the first year. I exercised every single day and logged (most) of my food. Since then, my weight has fluctuated a bit but for the most part I have maintained a weight between 195-185lbs. I am proud to say that I have kept off 100lbs for 4 years.

My life is changing a lot this year and it has been a huge stress trying to rediscover who I am and try to decided who I want to be. Living with intention I have done for years, now I am looking for serenity too.

My focus on this page (as always) will be honesty, but also a positive outlook to my health and my life. I appreciate any support you give me and look forward to helping some of you along in your journey as well.

100 Day Challenge Team:
I am the Leader of the 100 Day Challenge Team. I lost 40lbs in my challenge to myself to exercise EVERY day for 100 days...lost another 32 lbs in my 2nd 1oo consecutive days, and 23 more in the 3rd 100. I made it all the way to day 365 - For me exercise works....Feel free to join me!

I truly believe that every positive choice you make changes your path in life.

Every drop of water shapes the stone...

I hate the SERENITY prayer but I am trying to embrace it
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change (this is where I struggle), the courage to change the things I can (got this part down) and the wisdom to know the difference...

Can't say traing exactly....I am one of those who registers and has little time to train appropriately. Maybe next year will be different, if my house is ever done! The 15th is my next half marathon, the Vancouver Usa Half Marathon.... Are you training for any rides or just personal enjoyment?

I have been on a roller-coaster ride foodwise since Easter - now I am back to tracking in detail, have cleared out my cupboards and am trying to figure out what put me off-balance. I think it is because I have handed back a lot of responsibility in exchange for more free time (and less money) at work. This has led to me feeling slightly insecure and worried that I over-defined myself for decades through my job. The question is: who am I and who would I like to be in the future???
Hope you are feeling a lot better now and moving forward on your lovely bike rides!

Hey Hollynn! I saw your blog this morning. Girl - I hear you on the chocolate. I've been on a month long binge of chocolate, ice cream and wine. SO BAD! And I'm leaving tonight for Vegas, so I feel like there's no point in trying to do anything productive until I get back from this trip. But it's time to get serious this summer and I'm right there with you. Maybe next time you're in Chicago we can hang out.

HUGS!
