My goals are: - next a1c less than 8 - Continue to build strength with personal training and exercise - Keep carbs in target range
My Program:
I am following the SparkPeople diabetes plan for the most part. I tend to stop eating by 7pm. I drink at least 8-8 ozs. glasses of water per day. I say no to things that just aren't worth doing.
Personal Information:
Beginning runner Some recent stats: 5/11/13 Ran 2 miles! 9/22/12 3 min at 3.4 mi/hr 9/28/12 5 min at 3.4 mi/hr 10/3/12 8 min at 3.5 mi/hr (distance 0.5 mile) 10/18/12 1 mile (18 min at 3.3 mi/hr) 10/20/12 1.4 mile fun run (took 26 minutes, but I did it) - first time! Next running goal is 5k in October 2013.
Other Information:
I am a huge science fiction fan: Star Wars, Star Trek, Aliens, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Twilight Zone series, Michael Crichton books. I also like the Harry Potter series, Hunger Games and Lord of the Rings.
