    Hello All,

    I agree with the last two (2) comments... would appreciate being able to attain more SparkPoints! In the past, members were able to attain points through 'clicking' team pennants; and, points added up quite quickly. However, since that feature has been deleted, it is difficult - if not impossible - to earn 100pts per day. In the previous system, it was easy to accumulate 50, 75, 100+ SparkPoints per day.

    Also, the new community feed is too-o-o-o much like FaceBook and seems to be all about who can get the most 'likes'. Yes, it's great to share in the success of others, however, I'd rather do without this 'mandatory' new feature. This new feature was added 'in place of' team pennant SparkPoints; and, quite frankly, I'd rather have the points.

    Humbly, here are some possible solutions:

    1) Disregard opposition to the new community feed and keep things as they are;
    2) Get rid of the new community feed and return team pennant SparkPoints;
    3) Include both the community feed & team pennant SparkPoints on the start page;
    4) Or, increase the amount of earned points i.e. members earn 20pts instead of 5pts for reading articles, etc.

    By no means are these all of the possible solutions, these are merely a few suggestions.

    Thanks,

    I love the "My Recent Posts" feature and use it every time I am on Spark. I need more ways to earn Spark Points as I like to give gifts and really want to give more expensive gifts but am afraid of running out of points before I can build them back up again. I would like to search SparkPages and actually get more than the same few pages popping up. I have even put in some of my Spark friend's names and they don't show up but their pages are not set to private. Something is wrong with the feature. Dislike the automatically clicked "send emails when anyone posts" that is on EVERYTHING. I do not want useless emails. Only reason I am posting these comments here is that I have posted elsewhere and asked tech questions but cannot locate my posts so didn't get answers.

    Hi Everyone,

    I have enjoyed being a member of SP for over 8 years and cannot thank you enough for all the help and support which have made a tremendous difference in my life and health for the better.

    I've seen many changes to SP over these years and I know things do have to change in response to current needs and for improvement but I've also noted some changes which seem IMHO to be counterproductive to the Spark mission.

    The new community feed on the START page looks like a Facebook clone. I would rather it be an option to click on rather than an "in your face" wall as soon as you log in. If people want to show pics of their personal journeys that is what their spark pages are for and their personal friend feeds.

    My other concern is in regard to one of the feature articles that appeared on the START page this past Monday (or it might have been Tuesday). "9 Things Never Ever to Say To Your Husband". It seemed, and again this is IMHO , rather pointless and simplistic - something typically seen in a fluffy tabloid magazine or website. What's next? ( 10 Things Your Vajayjay is trying to tell you".

    Spark People has been a forum for health seekers of all ages - from millennials to baby boomers ( and everyone in between) . The emphasis has always been on health, fitness, and finding a healthy balance while connecting with like-minded individuals, while keeping the main theme, the main theme.

    Lastly, I know you have heard many complaints about the decision to drop the team bonus points from the start page. It was an easy way to support our teams and gain spark points which meant being able to give more spark goodies to our spark friends. I would really like to see that feature restored.

    Thanks again for all you do to make this one of the best health sites on the web.
