I used to tell people that I have been overweight my whole life. My family always teased me as a kid about being "fat", and kids at school teased me about being fat so I believed that I was fat.

My Goals:
My current goal is to lose 35 pounds (10% of my current weight) by my next birthday in April 2012.

According to the BMI calculator, 154 pounds is the top end of the range for my healthy weight. I am using that as my final goal, but I'll be happy with anything under 200!

My Program:
I am using Spark People to help plan my meals, though I don't follow their meal plans exactly. I use them as a guideline to figure out what I can eat and how much.

I walk daily, and I am using Your Shape for Wii to workout in the morning before work. Working out first thing in the morning ensures that I don't make excuses not to exercise later in the day.

My goal for January is 1100 fitness minutes.

Personal Information:
I am a single mom of 3 kids, living in Southern Illinois. I am 36 years old, though I always tell my kids I'm only 28. LOL! I am the youngest of five children.

OMG! Just saw your post on my page!!! WOOOHOOO!!! So happy for you! And YOU WILL KEEP THOSE 10 LBS OFF! I know when you get sick it just sucks big time but you will be back on track before you know it! Just do your best while in recovery, drink lots of water, try to do some low impact activities, walking is good. And do your best to stay on track with healthy food options. YOU CAN DO THIS!
