Back on Spark. Returned this spring (2014). Changing eating habits, and getting to gym on a regular schedule.
A steelhead is an ocean going rainbow trout. Long, slim fish. Most I have caught were between 9 and 22 pounds. A great sport fish.

We've been having thunderstorms for a week or so now. They are on and off but yes they do remind me of Texas. I used to love going out into the rain, which was warm by the way, and playing in puddles while I watched for lightning. I am all grown up now however but sometimes you just have to be a kid :) Lots of memories!!

You asked about mandolin camp, it was awesome! 3 day of classes, seminars, concerts, private coaching sessions and jamming.... my idea of heaven! It was held in Charlton MA, which I think is on the other side of the country from where you live. However, there is an excellent camp called Mandolin Symposium, run by David Grisman and Mike Marshall, that's held in CA in June. I went 3 years ago, when I had just picked up the mandolin for a little less than a year. Fantastic camp, check it out! Of course Dawg is probably my no 1 mando hero; it was so cool to play rhythm and a little lead in the back row of his ensemble that year!

Thank you for the welcome. I love music. I play the flute but do not do it professionally. I guess when I really pick it back up is when I am down and it seems to lift me right back up! I live in the northeaster part of Oregon and well it's looking a lot better now as for the weather. Just had some rain from about 24hrs and will go back to the 70's!! I'm ready for the warmer weather. emoticon emoticon
