I can do it!

Once again time to regroup. Hormones are wreaking havoc and am battling hormone induced weight gain. Have lost 1kg and am now managing to stay on the same weight. But still need to keep changing things around until I can loose again. Also battling hot flashes again Am trying different supplements to help with this. Ok April 2016: gained 2kg. Not amused. Trying Core Balance now. Hormones driving me crazy and supplements not helping much this time round

My Goals:
1. Loose weight!
2. Keep blood pressure controlled with diet & exercise
3. Reduce stress at work so that I can concentrate on my eating & exercise. - 4. Get to a point where I can play golf once during - still not achieved


My Program:
Diet, try to stick around 1200-1500kcal,
exercise:
2 x gym per week
2 times walk for 30 min per week
Golf every weekend and whenever else I get a chance

Thanks for leaving a comment on my status page. Yes, it sounds like we are in the same boat - my weight has gone up 4lbs in the last week and a-half. I am trying to stay calm and do what I know I need to do - keep my calories below 1800, get at least 7 hours of sleep, do my meditation and exercise. I think my exercising has gotten less intense over the years - so that I am not burning as many calories as I use to - lowering my overall metabolism. Ugh -- stay focused, stay focused :) WE CAN DO THIS!!!

It is good to see that you maintained over the Christmas vacation. emoticon

We had all 4 of our kids and their spouses. Our eight grandkids and the oldest with his wife and 3 kids for Christmas dinner. That hasn't happened for a lot of years. It is so hard to get them all together at the same time.
I did have a gain though and that is not so good. It has been very stressful with my grandson and his wife having issues. I worry about the little ones the most even though I do worry about the adults too. I love them all so much and it is hard to see this after 11 years together and 7 married. It is hard to stand back and let them do what they need to do for themselves.
I have started to do more exercise so hopefully that will help with the weight and the stress.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. You were correct - after sticking to my healthy eating and exercising yesterday - along with drinking lots of water - I did lose those extra two pounds! Thanks!
