I can do it!

After successfully loosing 10kg, I had to deal with multiple injuries & health problems. On top of that I had to deal with real stress, the kind life just carelessly throws at you. Add perimenopause and you have the result:
I gained 14kg!

Then I decided I need to get serious again:
1. Track food - so far I have lost 2kg in 6 weeks
2. Find time to exercise during the week (weekends are not a problem) - I have to revive my lunchtime walks

My Goals:
1. Loose weight! And try and stay injury free this year.
2. Keep blood pressure controlled with diet & exercise
3. Reduce stress at work so that I can concentrate on my eating & exercise.
4. Get to a point where I can play golf once during the week as well.


My Program:
Diet, try to stick around 1600-2000kcal,
exercise at least 3 times a week either on the golf course, or if in the gym, interval Training on the treadmill, stationary bike, weight lifting, swimming on Saturdays when the weather permits
Long run or walk every Sunday, or golf

Hi Steph, it's nice to hear from you.
I have been lacking motivation on my fitness journey for a while now because of work related stress. But I still make it a point to walk everyday. I am hope to take leave towards the end of the year then maybe I can restart.

The boys are big, Ken will be doing his KCPE this year. They are still playing football but they now train at Karura forest, which is a lovely place to walk for me so that's a good thing.
