Yes, I am BACK again. After trying to do my fitness pal for the last 4 months with a gain. I am at ole faithful SP! I get more support and interactions on here than MFP. Unfortunately after going to the Dr. yesterday I saw the realization that I have been avoiding. I am back at my highest weight of 215 or 214.8 to be exact. YES indeed my BMI matches my age of 42! WOW that was an eye opener. A little depression along with taking care of two little ones with no help I have been using food as a coping mechanism. I have goals to set up and I will take my time but not too slow to get back into eating healthy and losing weight. I got to be good for all my kids!
Well here I am 5 1/2 months after the birth if my final baby. I only gained 10lbs with the pregnancy and I lost 15lbs and now I am boucing between 194 and 190 the last 5 months. I believe it''s the breastfeeding that''s keeping my weight stable as I have been emotionally eating. It''s been hard trying to incorporate working out with 2 under two as a single mother. But where there''s a will there''s a way!
I wasn''t doing so great the last time I was here after my last pregnancy. Well I got pregnant again and I am expecting my third and final baby girl in May. My weight climbed back up to 194 after not getting back on the weightloss band wagon. Besides looking for a career I enjoy I want to get back to losing this weight.
I am back on SP after roughly an eight month hiatus due to pregnancy and birth of my baby girl. I was 174lbs when I had my first Dr. appt. and I got up to 195 when I had her, so a 21lb gain. I had my daughter on 12.31.2014 and I lost most of the weight and was down to 175. However, not being able to work out and not eating good I gained 4lbs by 6 week checkup. So now I am 179 and I want to still lose the rest of this weight and get down to my goal of 146. It�s hard getting back to the habits I acquired at the beginning of 2012 but I did it before and I WILL do it again.
At this point I have lost 43lbs from my highest of 215 Glad I lost that would have been nice to had lost more in a year and a half of trying to change my way of eating and working out, but alas it''s a loss. Now onto a new chapter. I will be taking a hiatus from SP. Not sure how many people will notice!? I am now 31/2 months pregnant and not getting anything from SP at all. I am due in January so as soon as I am cleared to workout I will be back! Hopefully, February 2014.
A New Year and I got back on my game and lost 4lbs in December! I am as ACTIVE as ever on SP and I am going to keep giving what I got. It''s almost a year later since I got back to Sparking and I am down 27lbs. My goal is to lose 38lbs in 2013 to reach my goal of 146!
~8.28.2012~ Well I have been back on SP for 8 months now and I have lost 21lbs. it''s been a battle the last few months but I am still hanging in there tracking and exercisng.
Why am I here? When I put my mind to things such as education and work I get on it and succeed. However, my climbing weight is something I just can''t seem to conquer.
I have been on Sparkpeople waay too long not to be making progress, but then again I need to actually utilize it! I am going all in this time around, accumulating spark points everyday, tracking food, exercising and getting my daily 8 glasses of H2o! I am also blogging once a week.
What changed my mind this time? I have been thinking about getting the lap band done for the last two years and I realized I have to give it a REAL honest effort to lose weight. Too many people have lost 100+ lbs on their own for me not give it my best effort.
Congrats to all the ones who have lost, another bigs ups to the ones still losing and to the ones starting, you are not alone!

3. 179, BMI 35 --------1st time 1/22/2013 Got down to 172 April of 2013
4. 169, BMI 33
5. 162, BMI 31. Lowest weight in the 2000's
6. 153, BMI 29.9 (this will take me out of the obese range into the overweight range)
7. 146, BMI 28.5 THIS WILL BE MY LOWEST WEIGHT AS AN ADULT!
8. 136, BMI 26.6 Not quite out of the overweight range but coming from 215 I will take it!
I will be VERY HAPPY at 153lbs, HOWEVER, I wouldn't mind getting to 146 because that would be 1lb less than the 147lbs, the lowest weight I ever remember being in my adult life. If I could actually make it happen 136 would be AWEsome! At this point in my life I don't care to be small I just want to be comfortable in my skin again.
Stay within my calorie range.
Trying to go to as much of a clean diet as I can go to. Baby steps!
30 mins of exercise 5 days a week.
GET MY strength training in at LEAST two days a week but my goal is three days.
I am a 42 yr. old mother of a 22yr old, soon to be 3 year old and a 17 month old. All girls! I live in South City in the STL.
I love to read and listen to Music. MUSIC! R&B, especially 90's, Alternative, Rock (80's) NeoSoul.

With kids esp. Little ones we don't have the time or energy. It's a battle to fight for yourself. I really learned that later, feels like too late at times with how much work I have ahead. We just keep moving forward and sometimes that's good enough!
