Hi Jan! Thanks for the note--we do miss out kids! And do you have grandkids yet? That is a "whole nother" layer!
On the other hand, we are really happy that they're doing so well in their lives--it's just hard when they leave.
I do work full time, which I love, so that makes things easier. But hey--you are the only other person I know who also doesn't have a TV! We got out of TV...dang, not sure but many years ago--maybe 20? We do watch movies at home, but I would never go back to constant bombardment from noise!!
Welcome to spark--hope to see you more. Deb 762 days ago
A lot of the bins would have read "Junk" "Junk" .... and..... "MORE Junk" - LOL! Of course there would have been SOME that weren't junk. A LOT of that stuff has gone now - hubby had 30-odd (and some WERE very 'odd') bicycles in various states from throwable, to garden ornament to repairable, and then some that were rideable as is. I sold a lot after he died, but there is still more to go. And THEN when there is more space in my garage, my son and his friend stored almost a 1/2 house lot in there because they went over to Canada to work. ONE day the garage will be ALMOST empty :-) 762 days ago
