Winter Sunset out my front door
Folks talk about how one day it just 'clicked'. I haven't clicked. It's been more gradual, but I'm shifting my thinking. I've become more comfortable with my body, more accepting, more appreciative of how it's provided for me for 52 years. I believe that improved health will come more easily from a place of loving gratitude.
This journey through life can be a challenging, but we can come through each of these challenges stronger, better and more centered than we were going in. It takes time and desire and a lot of effort, but we can emerge. My oldest daughter went home without me in October, 2002 at the tender age of 15. It's been a very, very long and difficult road from there to here, but I'm still here!
.......and Moving Forward!!

Eckert Tolle said something about the first step to curing insanity is to recognize it. (Most of my books are still packed. I'll find it sometime) Anyway, I'd rather not think about the shape I'm in right now, but have deecided to really take a look at it...recognize it so I can begin to cure it. I don't want to give too much attention to it, but do believe I need to look at it. I am not a happy camper moment -to-moment right now. In general, I'm a very happy camper...my husband describes me as 'rediculously optimistic'. I'm not a whiner, but find myself doing more & more of it. So, I'm going to dawn a new day.
Regain my health so I can truly live my life.
Take the chances that make LIFE WONDERFUL!

I love to read and bead! I mostly read non-fiction, but do love a good fiction book. I like Michael Crichton and Barbara Kingsolver among others, in the fiction arena. Oh! I cannot forget Harry and friends. I thoroughly enjoyed each of those. Non-fiction-wise, I enjoy info concerning health, nutrition, and especially Spirituality.
I'm slways looking for recommendations if you have a favorite!
