Hi! Thanks for stopping by! In short, I need to create and sustain healthy habits. When I realized I needed to lose some weight, I FINALLY brought exercise back into my life. But I've been inconsistent. I took a lot at the food I was eating and realized I relied on easy food - something I didn't need to cook! But I (and my family) were deep in poor eating habits.

And here I am today, after years of saying - I'm going to change! - seeing I'm still not making a big enough dent.

So after a year like no other - between work commitments and personal commitments that were exhausting - and watching my health have problems (back issues), I decided that this really (REALLY!) was it. I set a goal that by age 50, I will be in a routine with exercise, at maintenance, and enjoying healthy food. I've never set a multi year goal before and after getting a little nervous about it, I got excited. And excited is where I plan to stay!

Fitness Minutes: 14,208

My Goals:
Plan 5 of 7 meals every week

Plan 7 days of exercise - even if only 10 minutes ONE day (not more than two)
- aim for 150 minutes of cardio weekly
- aim for 40 minutes of strength weekly

Part of healthy living for me is decreasing piles (paperwork) in my house. I plan to spend 20 minutes, four times per week, going through papers.

My Program:
SCHEDULE, WRITE, LIST my meals and exercises every week.

Stay within calorie range at least 5 days per week

Drink at least 6 glasses of water per day

Walk/jog five times per week

Use DVDs and weights to complete my exercises

Personal Information:
Originally from the east coast, I'm now more like a native Californian. :-) I have two kids and they, along with my husband, are great supporters for me.
