    1954 was a good year apperently!
    There are a few more aches and pains but overall Things are pretty good. I have been trying to walk 3 or more x / wk and so far since Sun have 7 miles. I was just diagnosed diabetic and am very motivated to lose 40 pounds and get this body moving!
    perhaps walkin is something you can do?

    wow... .was trying to follow your 1954 page and got buried in the snowball of different discussions emoticon

    having gone through sickness and health with SP I can say that sometimes dropping an exercise goal down a notch until you feel better is a good thing.

    Someone in that blog however said there that when a person has 30 lbs to lose, it's easier than when there's a lot more weight to lose.... NOT!! my goal was 24 lbs. I went strong for a few weeks, losing 1-2 lbs a week, and then hit a 4 month plateau doing all the same things I had been losing so well with before. I think we do have to ramp it up a bit to continue to challenge our bodies so we can keep up the work load the body needs to continue losing weight. I use my elliptical for at least half of my workouts and changed the resistance to random and saw an immediate difference.

    I clicked on this too, because I was born in 1954, but had trouble finding the topic. I am not in IAMSUE's area though, looks like you are in CT and I am in VA.
