embarking on spark year #2!

here i am, starting my second year with spark! i have achieved a surprising amount of goals in my first year, and am ready to kick it up a level!

i am going to continue with what has been working for me:

-8+ cups of water per day
-1200-1400 cals
-lower carbs, lots of protein, veggies and fruit
-10,000+ steps a day
-50 flights of stairs a day

current weight (4/1/2014): 140
goal #1: 135
goal #2: 129
ultimate goal: 110

My Program:
stick between 1100-1500 cals...try to get as close to 100 g of carbs and 150 g of protein as possible.

exercise AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! gym + running outside + walking + whatever!

work on drinking more water and sleeping longer!

Glad to see that you're back on track!!! I've been off myself - got a workout in today and feeling like I'm heading in the right direction now too. Let's get out there & do something for ourselves!!

Focus focus focus...that is my mantra.....up 2.6 lbs since January...not too back for falling off track....I am determined to get back down and it all starts today.....

Today will be Awesome!!!!

Thanks for the comment it is good to be back...gone far too long...will start weigh in tomorrow and hopefully not a whole lot of damage control....regardless I am now ready for the challenge...

BTW: Great job on being down...I need to be where you are then I would no longer be in an overweight BMI...my first goal is to get there :)

No, it's not bad that you're excited for a long work out, but I am sure JEALOUS!!! Dang. Hope you had a great 1st bday dinner & have fun working out today. I will be hobbling around Walmart doing my grocery shopping & missing the good old days when my knee worked!!!!

Yeah, Atkins really works for me & I don't miss the carbs like I thought I would. My problem is that my body really doesn't like them at all, so I have to keep them low or the weight just won't move. I'm glad your friend is finding success with it as well :)
