embarking on spark year #2!

here i am, starting my second year with spark! i have achieved a surprising amount of goals in my first year, and am ready to kick it up a level!

i am going to continue with what has been working for me:

-8+ cups of water per day
-1200-1400 cals
-lower carbs, lots of protein, veggies and fruit
-10,000+ steps a day
-50 flights of stairs a day

current weight (4/1/2014): 140
goal #1: 135
goal #2: 129
ultimate goal: 110

My Program:
stick between 1100-1500 cals...try to get as close to 100 g of carbs and 150 g of protein as possible.

exercise AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! gym + running outside + walking + whatever!

work on drinking more water and sleeping longer!

Good to know I am not the only one about breakfast! Like people say that is my jam about a song well breakfast is my meal LOL. I have lose skin too. I read that it takes longer for skin to catch up with weight loss so I am hopeful things will improve. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I am always looking for new exercises too!

Come on chickie - cheer yourself up! Negative thoughts are killer and don't do us any good. And it's only 3 days into March so you've got many days to turn the eating around & get back on track! When is your birthday? My son's is this month on the 24th. Course he's a teenage boy who can eat junk and burn it off just by breathing... so unfair!!!!

Hang in there ~ it will get better & you WILL reach that goal weight soon!

Haha, I'm totally on board with being long-distance workout buddies! I am also shooting for no less than 10K steps EVERY day, and trying to get up past 15K as much as I can. It helps a lot that I walk to work, am on my feet running back and forth most of the day, AND get a treadmill workout in, at least on the 2-3 days a week I'm scheduled at the gym...

That's what I thought - that it would be a great bonding experience. And how fun traveling all over on weekends to do different races! Our first one is June 1st - a color me rad run. Showed her the website last night and she said it looked miserable! Can you believe it?!!! It may be a battle, but I'm willing to fight it :)
