Making it Work

I am on my way to losing the 20 pounds I have put on over the past 5 years. I have been working on it for awhile now and have not had much success. I tend to over plan and over stress so I am working on relaxing and finding more fun to replace the need to eat for enjoyment in life.

My Goals:
I want to get back into a size that feels comfortable. I am working to get rid of a chronic sinus problem as well.

My Program:
Diet - Vegan, 1500 calories daily.
Exercise - walking, home video's and hand weights
Encouragement - more knitting, crafts, outdoor adventures and relaxation in life.

Personal Information:
I am in Washington State and looking forward to the coming spring.

Other Information:
It is not wise to dwell too often on the preperation of food or what sounds good to eat when you are wanting to eat less.

Following a day of nothing but sleeping and a slightly pounding headache I have adjusted my diet and do not desire to eat as often as I was. I had actually gained 3 pounds over the 140 start weight but am now back down to 138. This was in 3 days time. I am eating much less for 3 meals a day and drinking less than the 4 quarts of water a day. I have not added a lot of exercise yet but will see how it goes. emoticon
