I am 20 year old girl, been struggling with my weight since I was about 6 years old and have had my fair share of ups and downs in between. Since age 12 I have had disordered eating and I fought a nearly 5 year battle with bulimia. I am grateful for every day that my mind is healthy enough to make the right decision and am very proud to say my fight has been going very well for the past year. At 5'5", I started SP January 2011 weighing an estimated 170, and set my goal weight for 135lbs. I couldn't even imagine being this weight again. I reached my goal in June 2011, about 6 months into my venture :) I am typing this now, January 2012 weighing right around or just under 135 :) I have been hitting the gym and not over-OVER-OVER-indulging (admittedly I am overindulging though in junk food) to maintain this weight. I am happy with how I look and feel but I would like to tone up and lose around 12-15lbs by this summer and really feel my best.

My Goals:
I would like to feel confident in my body and feel more comfortable doing physical activities; less thigh chafing, more fun in the sun!
1/12: I want to look and feel *hot* at the weddings I am attending this summer and be at my fittest. Oh yeah- and my thighs are still my biggest concern! Darnit!


My Program:
Working out 3+ times a week, 1200-1500 calories 5x a week, up to 1800 calories 2x a week..

1/12: I a starting a "Biggest Loser"-esque challenge with 2 classmates and I know SP has the tools I need to succeed :D



Personal Information:
I am in Western NY, 20 year old female! Woo! In school for physical therapist assisting :) I am quite busy and have a lovely boyfriend so it can be hard for me to find time for my own health needs but I realize it is a must, not an option.

    I added you as a friend cause is always nice to learn from those who have reached their goal and helps us to see that we too can do this!

    So ultimately, what helped you, besides Spark of course lol, to reach your goal and get that fine bod of yours? Also great stomach...is very well defined and balanced! What helped you achieved that? I have been loosing inches and I feel everything is starting to gravitate towards my stomach and falling into my lower abdomen..ugh..not pretty!

    Would love to get your insight...I always like to ask fellow sparkers what helped them reached their goals!
