for your comment on tart cherry product and your information of fighting inflammation.

I purchased the product from amazon at 13.99 marked down from 29.99

the brand provides tart cherry juice capsules a 4:1 concentration of tart cherry extract, giving you the equivalent of 1000 mg of tart cherry per capsule

i just learned that tomatoes are not friendly to the diet of fighting inflammantion emoticon

Thank you for posting those tips - they are WONDERFUL! Even if I can't use them, the knowledge is something I can share with others. You are amazing finding all these great things and I know that is time consuming. We work well together, I think!

Hi, I just saw your comment on GOODLIL991's blog about ketoacidosis and I wanted to reassure you that it is largely a concern for Type 1 diabetics and end-stage Type 2's. The article you linked to was very incomplete, though it also mentioned:

"Some people without diabetes can get ketoacidosis, too. It's caused by alcoholism, starvation, or an overactive thyroid. A healthy low-carb diet shouldn't cause a problem."

Here's a good layman's explanation of the difference between Nutritional Ketosis and Diabetic Ketoacidosis:
