Hi there. Found your page via the 1/2 marathoner forum. I was a TNTer as well! Way back when, I did the 86 miler Athens-to-Atanlta inline skating event. It was a great experience.

Congratulations on the Nike Half! Don't you just love race pictures. Also I know exactly how you feel about wishing the Fuel Belt fit looser! LOL

hi, just wanted to say i was not a runner either, until i ran a half marathon for leukemia and lymphoma society april 2006 in honor of my grandmother who has multiple myeloma and in memory of my father who passed away jan. 2006 from lmyphoma at 58 years old. he fought it for 8 years and did pretty good, he had lost his right arm from it in march 2004, then it went to his lung 3 months later, that's when it started getting tough. then november 2005 he started getting sick, christmas eve i was told it was time for hospice--the very worst day of my entire life. i watched him suffer for 2 1/2 weeks everyday, as i sat with him i was reading "how to run a marathon" . and i told him then, that i was going to run a half marathon for the leukemia and lymphoma society in his memory. That's is probably the only thing that kept me motivated for all the training and to finish 13.1 miles. i thought about all the suffering he went through for me, my brother and his grandkids and his parents. i'm sorry this was so long, i couldnt
