Hello! My name is Betsy. And guess what... Yep, I'm starting once again. Some of you that have been my Spark buddies for a while know that I've done that a couple of times.

I've got tons of excuses of why I fell of the wagon this last time, but I won't bore you with that because excuses are absolutely useless! So here I go again. This is it!

My Goals:
1) Achieve and maintain a healthy weight. To start, I am aiming for 155-165 range.

2) Work through my depression and be able to get off of my medication.

3) Be able to wear my favorite little black dress again.

Once I have lost 50 pounds, I am getting a super short pixie haircut. I have always wanted to get one, but I was always afraid it would make me look extra chubby. I am going to go for it this time!

My Program:
FITNESS: I've got a little gym set up in my home. I've got a stationary bike, a heavy bag, and free weights. I will fit in a work out at least 5 days per week. I also plan on incorporating yoga a few times per week.

NUTRITION: Less processed and animal based foods, more natural plant based foods.

MENTAL: I plan on writing in my journal and writing blog posts here as often as I can. I am also starting to incorporate meditation to my daily routine.

Personal Information:
I am from Tennessee. I have been married since 2009. My husband is very supportive, and he is also ready to adapt a healthier lifestyle. We have two dogs: a lab mix named Harvey and a boxer named Garrus. They are absurdly energetic and fun and they love everyone! I write and draw my own webcomic. It is called FRUIT!, and it can be found at fruitcomic.com.
