Susan: Thank you for your comments on my blog. I am seeing what you are talking about with my need to adjust my calories! As my husband pointed out when I was talking to him about this, 1200 calories is the diet level they put his dad on when he was hospitalized and bedridden and they wanted him to lose weight....that really made me think about what I have been doing! I am seeing my doctor in the beginning of December; he needs to give me the referral to a Registered Dietician for my health insurance but I will definitely ask for the referral. I think sometimes reading what people who have lost a lot of weight say they eat, or shows like the Biggest Loser, give a wrong impression about how low you need to keep your calories. I am impressed that SP actually wants you to account for your exercise level. I am going to up my minimum to 1800 per day and see what happens! Thanks for your comments and support.
