Hi, this is sushma from India, i have gained loads of weight after my daughter's birth owing to my dna, bad lifestyle, etc... recent visit to my gynac has triggered the long awaited journey to losing my flab and a healthy life.. i want to loose weight for myself and for my loving husband and lovely daughter.. i want to look good for them and for myself!! all the best to myself

I have come a long way in this journey, i am told by my mother that i was an underweight kid all the time.. i was born premature. however things changed post puberty i started to gain weight slowly.. my short strature added to the looks

i remember those frantic efforts of exercising and walking to lose weight.. the funniest part is that i never weighed myself.. partly because i was hesitant to do so and also because i had little access to it..

The other funny part of the story is that we never had a ful size mirror at home so i never could see myself piling that weight on my lower body..

couple of months before my wedding, i.e., in 2005 i tried real hard and i lost close to 10 kgs and i looked just fine..

it is 5 years since i have been married and my weight has been a yo- yo but it is only last year that i have gained great amount of weight..

My journey started this March.. and this time there is no looking back.. i am very honest to my self and i dont cheat on food or exercise any longer..
this time i want to do it for myself and my angel daughter.. i want to be an example to her and i dont want her to be ashamed of me.

I have lost 19.8 pounds till date and i have a long way to go..
i keep falling off the track and from that point i gather myself and move on.

My goal is to shed 30 Kgs and get fit and healthy.

fit into my old clothes - achieved

walk on the treadmill for 25 mins at strech- achieved

start wearing my old jeans

get a waistline of 30 inches

get medium size clothes

climb staircases without feeling breathless- achieved

Healthy diet with portion and carb control and regular gyming
