Ready to get back on track with the Groovy Geckos!

BLC 26 challenge has started again and I'm so excited to be a Groovy Gecko again. I can already tell this is going to be the best round yet!The support, motivation and inspiration I know I'll receive is just what I need to reach my goal.

Iíve been on SP for almost 3 years and in that time Iíve lost 80 pounds. I have gained back about 10-15 lbs and am looking to lose that during this challenge. I realize that the changes Iíve made are lifetime changes and as long as I continue eating right and exercising I will get to my goal.

I have learned so much from Sparkpeople. Iíve learned how important it is to track my food, to exercise and push myself. Iíve learned that the changes Iíve made are for life and I can never go back to the way things were.

For the last several months Iíve had a hard time getting back on track. I eat good all day but when I get home from work, itís a struggle not to eat everything in sight. Iíve continued to exercise and pretty much maintained my weight, maybe losing a little but itís time to get rid of these last 10 lbs.

My Goals:
I was at goal for a little while but have slowly gained back about 15 lbs. My goal now is to reach my goal weight and maintain it by tracking my food and exercise. I also am pushing my self farther in strength training.

My Program:
I am measuring my food and eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm also exercising. Before work I do Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, Kettlebells or run/walk 2 miles and walk 2 miles at lunch, 5 days of week.

Personal Information:
I grew up in Upstate NY but have lived in the Charlotte, NC area for 22 years. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary in June and I have two boys and 3 dogs. We enjoy camping, boating and Geocaching.
