My Goals:
When I first joined SparkPeople 10 years ago, I think, I'd seen my weight creeping up and decided that I needed to be more aware of what I was eating and how much I was exercising.

Well, it just happened again!

Having a weekly restaurant news column in the local paper is NOT a great method of self-control.

Note to self: It's never okay to just eat and drink whatever you damn please!

My Program:
Make sure to eat at least SOME breakfast every day, for a kick-start!

Walk a total of 5 miles, 10,000 steps, a day.

Eat only when hungry and stop when full. (This is NOT easy, by the way.)

Do daily pilates-type exercises to keep my hips and back limber.

Upper-body weight training every other day.


Personal Information:
68, with an emotional age of about 36

5'7"

Went from 172 in February 2005 to a low of 111 several summers ago (much too low for me)

Now aiming to lose at least 10 pounds, mainly to fit into more of my clothes and have a flatter tummy.

This, too, isn't always easy, because of the abovementioned newspaper gig and Bill's great cooking.

Other Information:
My passions lately are writing and getting to be expert in the local restaurant scene. Retirement is proving far busier than full-time employment!

Be sure the terms and conditions are checked and you've got a subject and caption. Sometimes it just takes time. Other times; you've seen them before I have! Still I looked and from here your's look still to be loading. May be good to delete and try again; could be stuck in a loop somehow or maybe the site is just extra busy. Who knows? All I do is follow the steps and cross my fingers.

I think about you often too. Facebook is ignoring me lately. They seem to have stopped sending my notifications. You sound busy as usual and, for a change, we are too and are getting so much done around here. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks, feeling great today Sue! Amazing! Yes, on meds but not for pain and pain is gone. Lots of things improving fast. Going to a festival with the kids this afternoon. Yes, I will pace myself I'm just sick of "resting"! Smiles.
