    Thanks for the tip. there's no numbers on these bike knobs! That would make way more sense. I did move it till I felt some resistence but then she would say ok half a turn to the right (to add more resistence) and everytime I did that, I never felt a different. Finally I was just spinning it around and around and I guess after awhile I noticed a difference but it was never strenuous to pedal which I would have thought it would be after turning it so much. So I'm not sure if the bike wasn't working properly or if I just needed to turn it more. I'm sure Ill get the hang of it though.
