My Goals:
My goals are to be free of disease and health problems that come from being overweight. In the process, I know I will have more energy, clothes will fit better, and I will save a lot of money that would otherwise be spent trying to regain my health.

My Program:
I enjoy walking indoors and out. When I am indoors I use an elliptical or Wii Walk It Out. I average 1-2 hours a day 6 days/ wk. Most days I stay within my calorie range by using the food tracker. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables and nuts are my mainstay. I quit drinking soda and replaced it with water.

That is great about Ken's song going to the TV station! I bet it is beautiful.

What was your breakfast quinoa recipe? I have a cookbook (gluten free) that talks about using it instead of oatmeal for breakfast with things like fruit and cinnamon. I haven't tried it yet. I actually have quinoa, topped with fresh cooked baby spinach and a poached free range egg every morning for breakfast right now.

Dr. Oz had a recipe for quinoa chocolate chip cookies on TV the other day that sounded interesting. I don't eat cookies, but Jim does so I thought I might give it a try making it for him.

The message at Church today was so good, but the Pastor said he would talk more on the subject tonight at the 6 o'clock service. I never make it to that service! I fall asleep in the afternoon and sleep until about 6 or so. I asked a lady at church to call me and make sure I'm up, I sure don't want to miss it!
If I set my alarm, I just turn it off and try to get up, but I don't.lol
