THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I've develpoed some healthy habits but I'm challenged with portion control. I'm going to do the Beck Diet solution which I'm finding is making me aware of some eating habits. One of my challenges will be verbalizing my experince with a diet coach and it'll be interesting to see how I do on this.

I have a goal of being able to swim in the sea this summer (the sea really IS cold here unfortunately - although many people DO swim outdoors all year round) - and my first steps are to get swimming more strongly in the pool.

Thanks for asking, I went to X-IT last night and it was good. I burned 418 calories in a little over 45 minutes, but I think I should have burned more. I talked to my trainer and she said it is a lot of calories but agreed I could do better and suggested that I push harder on the treadmill. So I'll try harder next time. She also gave me some tips for the rower that I will try. I will go to this class once a week and work out with my trainer once a week. When my sessions are up with my trainer I may just do this.

HUGS Yes, it is hard, but I was able to get her calmed down. I cannot wait to have Mom and Dad closer. Just want them comfortable!

Hey swseetie. Had a very bad night w/Mom. Has Alzheimer's, in rehab currently (in IL, and I am in WI) so was trying to calm her down (gets very confused @ night) by phone. **SIGH** No less than 6 calls last night. Had to try to catch some sleep as I could.

Have been working on getting her up here to WI with me as soon as she is strong enough (broke hip on 24 February). **SIGH** Life if rough @ the moment, but I DID get my status quote changed!
