THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I've develpoed some healthy habits but I'm challenged with portion control. I'm going to do the Beck Diet solution which I'm finding is making me aware of some eating habits. One of my challenges will be verbalizing my experince with a diet coach and it'll be interesting to see how I do on this.

Hey Sweetie! Thanks to you, I got myself out of the door this morning and went for a walk/run ! It was sunny, dry, but cold - so I didn't suffer from feeling hot and sweaty - but I was breathing hard. Thanks for giving me a gentle kick in the butt - there's no better feeling that being able to say 'I did it!' I also did 30 jumping jacks when I got home - I know, I'm such a copy-cat!

sweat? what's that?

it's funny, but I know you're right, but sweating is something I dislike! But I also can feel that when I get depressed/stressed/overwhelmed - I sort of 'seize up' and don't really want to move much. So - I can feel that you are right - moving - intensely - is almost certainly a sure way of releasing some of the stagnant energy that is weighing me down emotionally and physically.
I'm definitely thinking about what you've said.............swimming is probably my best option, because the water cools me down! I hate having a hot head/face.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog. Being realistic made this one of my happiest races.
Last year at Shamrock the 40 mph gusts just about blew me off my feet, especially as we turned toward the beach. This year was better but DH took a photo of me at the start, lining up behind a big tall guy just in case. I thought I could use him as a wind break. LOL

Edit: How wonderful to live in the Bahamas! DH & I have fond memories of our Honeymoon in Nassau in 1967. Yeah, back when you were 6. We're OLD.

Hi Sweetie! Thank you for sharing your stress/exercise experience on my blog yesterday - so wonderful to know I'm not alone! Thank goodness we can usually manage a walk in times of stress!
love Gill x
