THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This is my championship life I am embarking on. I was born in 1961 have enough experience on where I've been and time to experience where I will be.

I am participating in the Fall 5% Community Challenge. This will be the 2nd time I am participating in the weight loss challenge. I am a member of the Runners Walkers Joggers and Gadgeters Team. I am planning to eat more protein and vegetables. Reduce my carbs all the while staying within calorie range.

Yeah, I am spending way too much time at the gym. Yesterday, I actually only stayed there for two hours because the room where I do sit ups was having an aerobics class. I still did some sit ups. I like lose track of time in the sauna, but it was late yesterday. I have a lot of work to do today, so I probably won't go to the gym, but we will see. It's also Holy Thursday, and I will most likely feel guilty if I don't go to church. LOL. But, I have my treadmill at home and resistance bands too, so no excuses right?

Thanks for your note on my blog. I have to admit that the first 45 lbs were lost prior to my sleeve gastrectomy. I was put on a doctor supervised diet in July 2013 and until March 6, I lost 45 lbs. the other 25 have been lost since my surgery. Now I am about 1-2 lbs per week. It is a lot of work, but it is so worth it to me. I am 60 years old and last year my health had me doubting that I would be around another year. Now I feel fantastic and hope I am around another 30 or 40 years! As I said, small goals have gotten me where I am today!
