Coming Around Again...

I have been away from this site for a while (2010.) It happens, I guess, from time to time. I am looking to rediscover a sense of discipline that I seem to have misplaced. I think that I can accomplish many goals by using this site.

I could use all the support I can get. I could stand to lose about 50-70 pounds. As much as I'd like to develop some discipline, I would hope to be plenty gentle with myself. I believe such a balance is possible- some friendly notes ...

I am looking to change careers and go from a pretty sedentary job to one where I expect to be on my feet for the most part. Such a job has done wonders for my Boyfriend's waistline, I wonder what that would do for me. I hope to be around here more often, so I'll try to keep you posted.

My Goals:
Besides configuring a healthy lifestyle for me, I could stand to shed about 60 pounds. I'm tall so my body type is rather forgiving. However, I want to redevelop a sense of discipline that I seem to have misplaced. I figured I could knock out those two birds right here- Discipline and Health improvement.

I want to do more cardio. I put on muscle rather easily, so I want to focus on slimming down. I know a few ways to go about that- but I tend to lean toward Yoga and T'ai Chi.

Lastly, I want to trim my midsection. that seems to be, as is probably typical, a particular point of concern.

My Program:
I'm gearing myself up using Law of Attraction related processes.

I'm looking to learn to cook, mostly using "Hungry Girl" strategies among others.

I work out when I can. I mostly walk as often as possible and use about 5 flights of stairs per day at work.
