I'm back and hopefully injury free this time. Old athletes never die but we do show wear and tear as we age!

I had gained a whole lot being unable to do what I enjoy which is walking and weights. Been better since early October and have managed to drop 20+ pounds thus far. Now I'm back at SP to continue the trend.

My Goals:
My goal is to stay injury free and get back to the healthy person I used to be. Diet isn't my problem but lack of activity has really done a number on me as I've aged. I'm ready to do what I need to do so I can enjoy retirement in just a few more years.

My Program:
Hit the gym 5-6 days a week for at least a heavy 30 minutes of treadmill climbing. 3 times a week I do strength training. Hoping to build on this and I think I'm doing it.

Personal Information:
Married, 54 and a Paramedic instructor with 2 grown kids.

You're my kind of coffee lover, Swimom! I hope Folgers half caf has some respectable taste because I'll be downgrading from Cafe Bustelo, which is super dark.

In fact, my husband and I are so bad with coffee that it was our wedding favor. Thanks for the suggestion...
