Hello! I'm Kiki. I want to live more healthfully and I'm lucky to have found sparkpeople! I know that with the tools on this site, I will reach ALL of my life's goals.

I never had a problem with being overweight until my mid-thirties. I actually was underweight most of my life and very active. So, when I started gaining weight, and curves along with it, I didn't think it was a problem until I saw a photograph in the newspaper of myself with my husband when he was being sworn in as a councilman. It was a real wake-up call. I'm not as interested in being skinny, which I hated being called most of my life, but being healthy. I'd like to do all the things that I used to do without being out of breath.

I recently graduated law school and I'm studying to take the bar exam in July 2009. It's going to take a lot of determination, dedication and patience.

Currently, I work for personal injury law firm, and I love it; however, they don't have a position to offer me after the bar exam. I'd like to work either in that field, criminal law, or family law, although, all types of law are interesting to me.

I'm married to the man I've been with for 22 years. Everyone tells me he's the best, and I am lucky to have him! When I started this journey, I asked my husband to join as well, because I want him to live a long and healthy life. He's lost 50 lbs with spark, and is helping me to obtain my goals as well... check out his page: tboneman

I've lost 43 lbs and was down to 32% body fat; however, I've gained it all back. My goal is to start the walking program that I was on again. I hope to

I will eat healthfully approximately 95% of the time, exercise a little each day, lift weights, try to lose 2 lbs a week by sticking to those goals.

    BUT -- it was hard to locate you when you're referred to there as YankyKitten. I decided to check thru TBONEMAN's (I thought it was reference to t-bone steak...SO happy to know it's TROMBONE!) friends and I FOUND you! Guess you have been updating your page.

    Another reason I think you're updating your SPage is that you say "I have many varied interest as you can see from the teams I've joined," yet there are no teams noted on your page.
