My Goals:
1. To reach 180 pounds.
2. To Run in a marathon again
3. Get hired as an Assistant Principal in Michigan.

My Program:
Eating healthier
walking longer distances till I get to 230 pounds then I will change to a combination of jogging and walking. At 200 I will change to jogging and begin setting up a training program. After running a few marathon I want to set a goal time of completing the marathon in under 3 hours to qualify for the Boston Marathon in my age catagory and completing it.

Personal Information:
I am a Scientist who is qualified to teach math and science.
I have a special someone in my life, but we keep that part very private, so on sparkpeople and other social media I refer to her as my signifcant other, my partner, or my better half. We both love the outdoors and I love cooking, reading, and learning.

Other Information:
I am writting three books, "Cleared" will be completed by December 2013, "Traitor: Friend or Enemy" will be completed July or August 2014, and the "The Exclusion Zone" will be completed by April 2015, All three books are fiction and the science in all three is possible in the real world.

Good morning. Thanks for your well wishes on my blog posts. Your soup sounds super healthy and delicious. Your a good son to help take care of your mom's dietary needs; I'm sure she appreciates all of your efforts.

I'm going to thaw some meat today to make a batch of something....with the frigid temperatures and illness here it will be good comfort .

Hello. Actually you made a comment on the sewing project....but your last post was on a photo of the finished dress. So, if you think you are losing it, your are definitely not. I eased myself back into some walking yesterday. Today, I'll lace up again for the outdoors....and definitely before the storm hits!

DH got one of those flip belgian waffle makers and the waffle mix like the hotels use.....I promised him we'd make some this morning.....I'll have to be careful to just taste test! It is high tme I get back to some serious food tracking for 2015.

Hope your day is a good one to make YOU the priority. And hopefully your life has calmed down a bit to make that easier.

Morning, Syd. Thanks so much for the blog post and the nice comment on the dress. My DH now refers to it as the $1500 dress because of all of the time I took away from billable client hours to make it (LOL). It was by far the most complicated thing I ever made, that's for sure.

So....January 1 and 2015 have arrived and "the day" when so many start their health and fitness programs. I have 2 more eating events to go, so I am finding it difficult to tell myself to get on with my health and fitness program NOW rather than Monday.....bah! excuses are always handy. Sparking this morning is making me face that I need to buck up and do what I can this moment, this meal, this day.

How about you? Launch any new goals for 2015?
