One more thing... don't look at that 160 pounds as a whole. Break it into smaller goals. The 160 pounds will soon look as an insurmountable goal, but if you break into say 15 or 20 pounds or even 5 pounds you will feel excited each time you reach on of the goals and be even more motivated to keep going.

Life happens one day at a time. Suppose, instead of saying i have 160 pounds to lose, you start saying “Today, I am going to observe what I am eating because I want to eat less.” Today is what matters and you can control, or if not in control today you can correct it on the next today - once you know what you are doing each day.
