My goal is total body and life transformation.

I have been overweight for most of my life, and have unsuccessfully tried to lose weight for most of this time. In fact, I have been on this site for 7-8 years! WOW! Has it been that long already? Fail after fail after fail.

I have had fits and spurts of success, but never anything consistent. Got to keep on plugging. I am now 41, and being 100 pounds overweight has gone from simply being a detriment on the quality of my life, to being a serious health hazard.

My Goals:
To fully transform myself physically and transform my way of living.

Go from a sedentary lifestyle to a physically active one.

Live life to the fullest.

My ultimate goal is aggressive: 180 pounds, 10% body fat. I think this can be realistically achieved in 2 years time.

My Program:
Ultimately, burn body fat while maintaining muscle.

Roughly 2000 to 2300 calories. Actual amount calculated based on BMR.

My program is based on what I learned through Tom Venuto's books. Supplemented with learnings from a lot of other sources.

Strength and cardio combos are key. Need to figure out what works best.

...just trying to keep it simple. Lack of consistency is my biggest weakness.
