Kickoff to transformation.

I've been overweight my whole life, you can say I developed plenty of baggage. These extra pounds have really effected me physically and mentally.

The good thing about middle age is you come to realize what really is important in life. All things considered, my first 40 years have been good. But it can be better. MUCH better. So on this day of July 13th, 2014 I kick off a new long, healthy full life that is packed to the brim with rich experience.

My Goals:
To fully transform myself physically and transform my way of living.

Go from a sedentary lifestyle to a physically active one.

Live life to the fullest.

My Program:
Between 1800 and 2000 calories a day.

My program is based on what I learned through Tom Venuto's books. Supplemented with learnings from a lot of other sources.

Strength: Two day split routine with rest on the third day.

Cardio: I like to walk on a treadmill, so that's what I'll do. Will try to do every day, by strength training is primary.

...just trying to keep it simple. Consistency is my biggest challenge.

Yes, the increased ads here have me thinking I might find a different site to move to. The biggest reason I have stayed so far is because I seem to reach the most people with my blogs. Honestly, though, I have found that for the most part the macro counts on the foods Spark enters (not so much members) are good. The oat flour yesterday was, for me, the exception.
