I will be 64 in another few weeks. I don't know if I'm aging well or not. After she was in her 80s, if someone asked my grandmother how she was, she's often say "I woke up on this side of the grass - I figure I'm ahead of the game."
He is having vein surgery. Years ago he had his veins stripped but they don't do that anymore. They made an incision, burned the bad vein or something like that, so that the good veins would take over. They decided not to do the other leg until we come back in November. He goes back Thursday to make sure the other veins are doing what they are suppose to. So thankful they were able to do it today. I was after him all evening to drink lots of water so the veins would open up good!!!! 1 day ago
I did post on that thread while I was walking in the mountains but didn't log all the cleaning etc. I've been doing here!!! Hubby's surgery didn't go well yesterday, they couldn't keep the vein open long enough to do the procedure. We are going back this morning and probably tomorrow too. They "failed" to tell him he should leave off all caffeine for at least 16 hours and drink tons of water. Someone dropped the "ball"!!! Very frustrating! 1 day ago
Thank you so much for your warm, generous, and wonderful comment on my blog. It never occurred to me that anyone would read it but I am so grateful that you did and deeply moved by your consoling words.
