Thank you for the thought provoking note on my blog. Not sure why strength training is hard to work in. I actually rather enjoy it once I get into it, it's the getting into it that's the hard part. I know I can cycle all the time, and although my legs will get toned, my upper body will still be soft. I don't know, but I'm trying hard to work it in. My goal for now is three times per week, because if I try for more, I will end up discouraged.
    Have a great Saturday!

I'm sure the New Balance is a better "power" walking shoe than the Sketchers. I'm hard on my shoes and need a new pair especially with all the walking here in the mountains!

Volunteered at the mailing facility for the Tammy Duckworth for Senate campaign (she is my current Rep and is running for Senate this year - replace Kirk the jerk). I took the job of taking the bundles from the table to the pallet and stacking them - lots of steps even though not a long distance. Just walking from where there were open parking spaces to the front door, then on into the factory and back was also quite a few steps. They set up 3 4-hour shifts and I worked the 10:30-2:30 shift.

It's been over a month since she's posted. We have another member that has posted several times on the team wall. I know she was posting on the IMatter team but don't know if she still is or not.

it is the Low Carb and High Fat. My DH has trouble controlling portions with carbs- any kind so I figured since I love to learn nutrition and find out about different ways of eating I would do this for a little while. Still plenty of veggies but staying away from grains for a little while. To see if it helps. Plus- I like finding overlap in some of the "diets" that may seem opposed. It is good to find common ground so plant based can have discussions with low carbers or paleo. Good to eat at their table. I know one of the things we agree on is processed food = garbage
    - I will be back to my beloved potatoes. There were so many concerned and odd comments taht I deleted any posts about the potato experiment. It was 5 days and 4.4 pounds lost. Did good afterwards but then some feasting and events... still doing ok but do not want to lose too much ground...oh boy... I am rambling... lol
