I've been overweight my entire life. However, I know it's because of poor choices. I've been on many, many diets.

Dieting is easy. Willpower and motivation are hard. Now I want to change that. I want a better me for my grandchildren. I have a granddaughter who loves me dearly but in all her 4 year old wisdom let me know in her 4 year old honesty; "gwandma, your too fat to do that" lol

A good reason to take a real hard look at myself. Today is the day, I make a change. Not just for my granddaughter but for me.

I am a yo-yo dieter. I dropped off my diet...again. It's been 1 /2 years years since being on here. Now my granddaughter is 8. It's my prayer and desire to stick with it this time. Wish me luck.

My Goals:
To stick with it, stay motivated, and keep the weight off. I'm 225 lbs. I want to be at 150 lbs by January 2018. I hope this isn't an unrealistic goal.

My Program:
Healthier food choices, more strength training.

Personal Information:
I'm 5' 2" and 225 lbs. I thought it was ALL me. I recently learned that since I don't have a gall bladder the body doesn't break down fats, dairy, and meat. There isn't enough bile that is normally produced by your gall bladder to break them down. Since it can't break it down, it deposits it into your belly.

Also, I had a hysterectomy 3-years ago. Yay, another weight challenge. I was told by a great Dr. to start using Ox Bile. The Ox Bile will help break down the fat and ultimately will help lose the weight along with proper diet and exercise.

I've always walked. At least 1 hour a day. I walk my dog 1/2 hr. in the morning around 5:30 am and then at night I take him to the walking trails in the back of my home for a minimum of 1/2 hr. More often than not, it's 40 minutes. I used to lift weights, but since moving to the mountain my commute is longer. So I make up excuses as to why I can't do the weights. Of course, they are excuses.
