Getting healthy for myself! 11 lbs gone so far!
Welcome and thank you for visiting my Spark page. I am 28 yr old married mom of a wonderful little boy. I am doing this not only for myself but for my son and my husband. I am currently studying English at Lamar University and am poised to graduate in December. I am also a writer and currently writing for our school newspaper for a class. Welcome and thank you for visiting my Spark page. I am 28 yr old married mom of a wonderful little boy. I am doing this not only for myself but for my son and my husband. I am currently studying English at Lamar University and am poised to graduate in December. I am also a writer and currently writing for our school newspaper for a class. I have already published one story and was so proud the day I saw my name in print. I started this journey back in November 2012 at 194 lbs and have lost 11 lbs. I am also learning to love my body since having my son and am working on accepting the fact that I may not ever look like I did in high school or be at that weight ever again. I just want to be healthy and look and feel my best. I also have learned since starting the BLC that this is not a diet it's a life change. You don't have to deprive yourself but you have to make sure if you want a special treat that you have room in your daily calorie counts to allow that special treat and one day does not have to derail you unless you let it.

My Goals:
Goal 1-To lose 48 lbs Goal 2- Lose at least 5% of my body weight during Round 21 of BLC. Goal 3- Continue to eat healthy and lose weight between BLC rounds. Goal 4- To be more consistent with tracking my food and more consistent with my exercise program.
My Program:
1 hour on cardio dancing with our Wii system using the sweat mode on the newest game. Mon, Wed, Fri- Abs and leg strength training Tues, Thurs, Sat- Arms and backside strength training
