New Beginnings

I have been battling my weight my whole life and have decided within the past year to take matters into my own hands due to my health. I have been in denial for the longest time and would not admit to myself that I have a weight problem. I never believed that it would affect my health, EVER! In the past, I never had health issues and felt like I was not going to either because I never have, but now I realize that I am not void of the ailments that can effect you with being obese.

I have been in denial for the longest time and would not admit to myself that I have a weight problem. I never believed that it would affect my health, EVER! In the past, I never had health issues and felt like I was not going to either because I never have, but now I realize that I am not void of the ailments that can effect you with being obese.

Do not be mistaken, this is not an easy task and if anyone tells you that, then they are lying. I am determined to become healthy. I am not trying to be skinny, I just want to be at a healthy weight that I can live with. I have seen the proposed weight for my height. I look at that and ask myself, "Are they serious?" Really!?! I want to be healthy not waif thin. I have seen a chart were it stated that if I had a small frame then I would need to be between 111-124, medium frame 121- 135 and a large frame 131-147. I guess I verge on the large frame because I haven't been those other sizes since I was in grade school and junior high. I was very active in sports then.

So, I have recommitted myself to this healthy journey. It isn't going to be easy, but nothing worth having ever is. Won't you come and join me!
