I am really glad you like the sticky notes! The only drawback with them is that you can't save them to be a permanent file. I've never had my computer erase mine, but I have had it say that a program needs to close or I couldn't turn off the computer and they were talking about the sticky notes. If yours does that, just disregard the message. The computer will shut down without your having to erase any of the notes. Just click the Force Close option if you have to, and most likely the notes will be there when you get back. If you are really concerned though, you might want to copy something into Notepad and save it just in case. Have a great weekend!
Hi! I have an idea. Have you noticed that we have a Sticky Notes program on Windows? It's really cool! It's like the memo notes, it looks like them, you stick them anywhere on your desktop for reminders. They stay as long as you want, days, months, whatever. You can find it in the Accessories folder, and just do a right click on it and save it to your Start list. Then you'll see it whenever you click on your Start button. Unless you want to make a desktop icon, or lock it to your taskbar. Those methods work too. Anyway, if you copy and paste the URL of the page that you want to stay on into a sticky note, it will be easy to find again if you get switched to a new page. And then you go ahead and use your notepad like you usually do. Or you can write in sticky notes, they expand. At the top of every stick note, hover over the right side and there's an X that appears that closes it, and on the left side is a plus sign that you click if you want to open a new sticky note. Please try it, I think you will really like the program! And they expand like windows, you can see an arrow if you hover over the bottom left side or one of the sides. I hope it makes things better for you!
