2017: Lose 50 pounds by November 17!

My Goals:

I will log workouts and food every day for a month.

I will be able to walk the three flights of stairs to the L without stopping or getting out of breath by November.

I will get active for at least 15 minutes every day for a month. (Rest days=Yoga days!)

I will curb those sweet cravings! That is, I won't let them rule my life anymore but will allow them in if they fit within my calories.

I will lower my salt intake to reasonable proportions.

AND I will lose 50 pounds by November 17!


My Program:
1. Plan meals prior to grocery shopping every few days.
2. Get groceries as soon as the meals are planned and STICK TO THE LIST.
3. Eat at home whenever it's feasible and make good choices outside of the house.
4. Log meals and workouts for the coming days. Adjust when things change throughout the day.
5. Work out for at least 15 minutes every day, even if it's just yoga or walking.
6. On rest days, do yoga and/or stretches for at least 15 minutes per day.

Rewards System:
I am giving myself an ultimatum. Either I lose 50 pounds before November 17, or I don't go on our EPIC journey across the USA that's ALREADY BEEN PLANNED. I know it sounds drastic, but I think a kick in the pants is what I really need, and this provides the correct, realistic opportunity to kick hard.

First 10 pound reward: new work out clothes!
Finish the Bikini Series without Giving Up!: A "Skip Fit"
First inch reward: new phone!
20 pound reward: new dress!
2 inch reward: ne



Personal Information:
When I actually have free time, I love riding my bicycle, watching historic dramas and documentaries, drawing, singing, and cooking. My husband and I live in Chicago with our cats, Kafka and Dali.
