Keep Moving Forward!

This was getting too long with all the updates...so time to update the updates and shorten it up!

I've struggled with my weight my entire life. I've lost and gained 50 lbs several times in my life. I joined SP about 5 years ago and lost about 30lbs. Since then I fell off the SP wagon, got a job teaching first grade, earned my master's degree and gained it all back, and then some...and some more...and some more.

I scared myself at my all time heaviest weight in ...
This was getting too long with all the updates...so time to update the updates and shorten it up!

Since then I fell off the SP wagon, got a job teaching first grade, earned my master's degree and gained it all back, and then some...and some more...and some more.

I scared myself at my all time heaviest weight in July 2011 and started on the get-healthy journey once again. In June 2012 I came back to SP and am so grateful for all of the FREE tools, education, and support that I find here! I'm happier and healthier than I've been in years and am coming to understand and accept that it really IS about the journey, not the destination. I can't fail on this journey if I don't quit. And believe me, I'll never quit!

I look forward to both giving and receiving the 'spark'! It's so much easier when you're traveling this road with folks who 'get it'!

My Program:
Working on eating right, WATCHING PORTIONS, and keeping my body in motion! I've taken up running, but am certainly not a serious runner. It's the only form of exercise I've ever stuck with.

Thanks so much for the goodie. I feel as though I am at a cross roads and that fooling around with inconsistent eating habits is not an option anymore.
Not being able to run or really walk that much makes it harder and requires clean eating all the time. Just experimenting with my diet for now because I think that going too crazy low off the bat just sets me up for failure.
