I've been on and off this site for nearly 10 years now! I know that this is where I'll find the tools and support to help me find success. There are some pretty amazing people here!

I've struggled with my weight my entire life. I've lost (and gained) 50 pounds numerous times. In the last few years I lost over 70, but the weight is slowly coming back. As I get older, it gets harder to lose, so here I am...back to SP to help get things back in control before I undo all of my hard work. No more yo-yoing....working on making this a lifestyle.

I've recently downloaded the app to my phone to help with tracking. I LOVE it! It's so much easier than running to the computer to log food. It's also helping me to be more active on the site.

    Thanks so much for your kind words. I am beginning to clue into the realization that it is lifelong affair. Plus, I know, I too have to forgo the treats because they do not go with the plan.

    Good for you in sticking to your guns cause being fit and looking good is a lot better than any blizzard. Well maybe you could have one a month? lol emoticon

    Thanks for commenting on my blog! Vertigo can be caused by a lot of different things. What I have is benign positional vertigo, originally caused by a upper respiratory virus that caused fluid in my ears to develop. When the fluid dried up, it left microscopic crystals inside my inner ear. Anytime they become dislodged, my vertigo flares up. It's never as bad as it initially was (thank God), but it still makes me feel out of sorts. I agree with you. I think there's another virus going around, with vertigo as a symptom. I had another touch of it last weekend. I laid down in the afternoon, which I never do, and took a 2 hour nap! So far this week, I've been good! Thanks for the observation about my activity level. I'm trying!!

    Thanks for the blog comment. I hear ya!! If there was a way to replace the old worn out parts with fancy new ones, I'd be looking into it! Of course, I'd realize that I can't afford it and just be miserable with my old parts!! LOL The back is doing better but it's still very sore and I am still being careful with how I move. Ya know, just in case!!!
