Powerlifters rock

I'm really into training dogs. Specifically, dog agility. I'd like to lose the weight to be a better teammate for my Border Collies.

I also compete in powerlifting. Last August I set a world record in push/pull. For full disclosure: that was pretty easy as I am a short female with long arms. If I sumo the dead I only have to move the bar about 8 inches. My current PR is (traditional -- I am much stronger with the traditional lift!) 292. I am hoping to hit 350 by next spring.

I would like to deadlift 350 lbs and squat over 225. And I would like to be in the best shape of my life on my 60th birthday! I have three years to accomplish all this.

Other Information:
I compete in dog agility with my Border Collie, Ping. We compete in CPE, AKC, and USDAA sometimes. We live in the agility mecca also known as Northern California.

Hi! Thanks for the comment on my page, sorry took so long to get back. I'm actually rarely on here anymore except to track food :) Always nice to meet more powerlifters! Those are some impressive numbers you have. My hubby and I both compete about once or twice a year in USAPL ourselves, its great to have something to work towards.

I don't know what my sheep would think of a herding dog, they were used to my choc lab but haven't seen a dog since then. I have a llama that functions as a guard animal, he is very protective.
